Hey Mountain Crest !!!!

We just got one of your Red Pups. Wow what a catch she is the neatest dog. We called her Wanda the wonder. She is sure a wonder. We love her already so smart and quite large. How much do you think she will grow at the end of two years? Killey smiles at her all the time and she seems to come to her at comand already. Thanks for the perfect pup will send pictures at the 5 month old process.

We purchased a female bloodhound from you at Jay's about two months ago. She is doing great. We named her Bandit and she is full of personality.. I just wanted to let you know we are having tons of fun with her. Thank you for the helpful info on your website. It will help in training her. Thanks again

Yes bear slaps, its the craziest thing ive ever seen a dog do. he actually likes to use his paws to play hockey with his toys and ice cubes. he is rather ambitious and happy, he's like having a 80 lb toddler on crack, but we love him to death and wouldnt trade him for the world. does mack leave a slobber trail after drinking, i follow bear with a towel to wipe him off cause he will bathe you with slobber if not. my email address is hillbillyexpress@aol.com. ill keep posting pics of bear as i take them.

We didn't make it because our female her puppies the day before the seminar. I sent Judy some pic's of them yesterday. Maybe she will get them on her web site. If you want to leave me your email, I can send you some that way. Does bear slap? I have never seen a dog that slaps besides mack. He fights the same way. He knocks are old sharpei across the room with a slap across the back of her head when her back is turned. No wonder she hates him!

Hi Steve, We too purchased our Mack from Judy in March. He is also one of Hank and Moxy's litter. We can't believe how big he has gotten. We purchased one of her liver and tans the year before and had her bred with Hooch and had 3 pups in May. We had planned to use Mack to breed her this time but he didn't seem ready so we used Hooch again and are expecting that llitter in early Nov. We have not worked with him as far as tracking much but hope to do the seminar next year. He is just a big baby that loves to torture the other dogs. We really enjoy them and have the added benefit of getting to know Judy and becoming friends. I will find some pics to post if I can figure out how to do it again. Good hearing from you and hope to compare notes again. Kaye

You probably don't remember us but we bought a dog from you in 2000....He is the best dog we have ever owned. Just like his dad he has great disposition and love the kids. He gets stubborn at times but only when he doesn't get his own way. He go everywhere with us and he shares the bed with each one of us when he decides to. He is almost 160 lbs at 9 years old and doing fine. Our Vet says he is going to live a long time we are so happy. Can you please send us pictures of Axle His father and mother Kate?
We definitely will get another Bloodhound when Clyde finely gets to his last. Everyone we know says they love the bloodhound when they see him. He has been the best dog we have ever owned no kidding. Everyone should try a Bloodhound WOW!
Thanks Mountain Crest for our great dog thanks for your breeding experience. Thanks for taking the time to get the best and make the best.

We cannot tell you how much this dog means to us
The stories we read on your web site is true. After we read the story about Pete we cried for hours. We don't know you Don and Sue but if you had your dog for that many years and loved him as much as we do ours we certainly can understand where you are coming from.
We bought our Bess from Mountain Crest Bloodhounds in 1993 and She is still in great shape. Our Vet says he can hardly believe she is so healthy. Just like your Pete She is our baby and is just like a child to us. We are going to ask Gary and Judy to save us a pup as well but just don't know what sex we want yet. Sorry but just had to write in and tell you just how touched we were to read your story. Thanks for sharing your story to everyone and we are sure everyone who owns a Bloodhound feels the same way.

Stories are so great I hope everyone will share their stories so all can read them..

1984 we purchased a puppy form us do you remember?
Our Pete lived until he was 17 years old. At the last end of his life he started losing his sight and was starting to lose his hearing. But for a dog his age he did real well.
I seen the comments about your puppies and all and I thought it would help to let everyone know your dogs live a long time and there was no major health issues. The cold and you know we get the cold didn't seem to effect him at all. I built pete a sled and the natives made him a harness. Together we planned a long trip each day puling traps and resetting. This dog would break his heart before he would let those traps go. He looked forward to the days chores and I believe he died wishing he could have still made the trip. Pete and I were a team he made my life a joy and he is buried in one of his favorite spots on the Hill over looking the great river where he enjoyed his daily swim.
So many times I wanted to cll you and tell you how he was doing but time passes and I am like everyone else. I realize now how much you must appreciate the comments of your customers so I thought I would add my two cents.

We are planning on coming to your place next summer and purchase another one.
Our experience shows your bloodhounds are great dogs and we see you still practice, by the looks of your web site , the same as you always have. We can't tell you how many times we have talked about you in the past years. Was your ears ringing?
Thanks for our perfect bloodhound he was absolutely the best dog we ever owned. It has been hard to get over him but now we think we are ready to replace him. Well we never could replace him but you know what I mean.
We have your number and please save us a puppy out of Sissy and Brono if you will or can
We will keep in touch
thanks again

We just purchased a puppy from you we are the couple from Minnesota.
We had a long trip with (Frank) he did very well. We thought he was going to be sick but never cried or moved hardly a muscle while traveling. We love him already .will you be having any females in the near future? We have decided on the way home we would like two of them. Can you please let us know when your next pups will be arriving?
We are not fussy but really like the black and tans.
Frank has settled in our home like he's been here all along.
We can tell he is going to be a wonderful dog already.
Thanks for the purchase of this fine puppy

Did you know our kyle is now 152 lbs.
We weighed him at our Vets this morning he is only 10 months old
Maylee and Jeff can ride him up and down the stairs. We have purchased a rigger for hauling bait the kids are going to use it for hauling themselves around the yard. Jim says he's going to build a cart for the kids to go into the parades won't that be funny.
Can't wait to see what kyle will end up weighing at 3 years
So hot here this summer how's your weather? Aug ugh! Talk to you soon thanks again for kyle he is the sweetest dog.

We were walking at the Marion Fair last night and saw your dogs in full outfit how impressive! What do we have to do to join your Search and Rescue Team. Can we buy any do and join or does it have to be a bloodhound. Ho do we get a bloodhound. We love the look and watched your dogs with children they seem very smart and kind.
The kids wanted to pet your dogs but we saw they had signs that said no petting. Can you help us to get into your team and tell us what to do.

We love our puppy
We have never had a dog breed we have loved so much!
We read the Bloodhound was intelligent but you have to own one to really know just how smart.
Alicia carries the puppy to bed with her in her doll stroller. I noticed the wheels are starting to bend out. Tom has to help her get the stroller up the stairs. Then (Cavis ) sleeps with her every night. She has to tell Daddy how much Cavis snores and doesn't let her sleep sometimes.
We laugh at his plodding across the floor while Alicia tries to walk with him. She told us she was going to put him in a dog show and she knows he will win for sure.
Maybe some day they will have a toddler and puppy show for kids. (Something you can do for next years Seminar) Ha
We love him so much and it's great we have the chance to let our child grow up with such a fine dog breed.
Thanks to you Mountain Crest for your help in purchasing such an amazing dog.

We bought a puppy from you in 2004 and she is the smartest dog we have ever owned. She grew to be too big for her bed so we bought her her own bed which she sleeps on all the time. Maggie is one of the prettiest dogs we get so many compliments. I cannot believe how much these dogs love children. She will wait at the bus stop for Kevin to come home . Tracy comes home later and Maggie will race to the stop to get there first. We take her every where with us camping to the stores etc. She loves to ride. We are sending a picture of her on the boat and swimming. Can't get her out of the water. She would spend her whole summer swimming with the kids. Thanks so much for the quality you keep in your dogs we have seen lots of bloodhounds but wouldn't change maggie's bloodline for any other we've seen. We love her so much and we know she loves us as much.
Thanks again for the opportunity to own such a great breed. We highly recommend your dogs to everyone who asks.

We sure do Harvey is doing great and growing huge. We love his charicter and he loves to swim in our pool. He is two years old now and weighs 150 lbs to 152 lbs according to what he eats.
